Wilma

Hi everyone,

My name is Wilma, and I am an 8-year-old Weimaraner who came to SEDR as an unclaimed stray from council kennels, and it is sadly believed that I was been dumped.

When I first arrived, I was extremely underweight and had a few scars on my face and ears, suggesting I may not have had the easiest start in life. Thankfully, with lots of love and care, I am now feeling so much better and ready to start a new chapter.

I have now been neutered and vaccinated, and I am ready to find my forever home.

I am an absolute sweetheart who loves everyone I meet. One of my cutest habits is greeting people with a toy or ball proudly in my mouth, hoping it might lead to a game or some fuss!

I absolutely love affection and will happily enjoy snuggles on the sofa after a lovely long walk. I walk beautifully on the lead, travel well in the car, and I am a perfect patient at the vets.

I would love a home with a family who enjoy walks and outdoor adventures, ideally in a rural or semi-rural setting.

While I have been fine with some dogs, I have shown that she I can be unpredictable around other dogs, particularly smaller ones or when toys are involved. Because of this, I am is looking for a pet-free home.

My adopters will need to be mindful when out on walks, keeping her on lead and well managed around other dogs.

I am looking for an experienced, understanding home who can confidently manage me around other dogs and allow me to be the only pet in the household.

I will be an incredibly loving and loyal companion who will reward my people with endless affection, fun adventures, and plenty of sofa snuggles.
