Hi Everyone!

My name is Scampi and I am a 12 year old Bedlington, Lakeland Terrier Cross. My owner is in prison and I was left in the house with the neighbours popping in to feed and walk me. 

Thankfully the neighbours reached out to SEDR who accepted me into the rescue.

I am a spritely girl for my age and still enjoy my walks and running round the field! Once I’ve been out, I'm happy to chill out and snooze until the next walk or meal time!

I am extremely affectionate and love to sit on your lap! I’m also quite vocal in saying hello to people, but show no signs of separation anxiety - and appear to be fully house trained. I travel well in the car and am a perfect patient at the vets! 

I do have a heart murmur but this isn’t something that is affecting my day to day life, and I appear to be in health otherwise!

I would suit an active retired person, who is physically fit as I am quite keen to go on walks and can pull initially. 

 I have lived with another dog previously and would be happy as the only dog, or with another dog of similar age / energy levels. No yucky puppies hanging off my ears please 😂

 I would like an adult only home, but older, sensible visiting children are fine! 

 I cannot live with cats or small furries.
