Sansa

Please meet Sansa. Sansa came to us as 6 month old pup as her elderly owners could not cope. She has been in foster and is now looking for her fur ever home. Sansa is now almost 10 months and has been neutered, vaccinated and is microchipped. She is in foster in Essex. Sansa is looking for a home as an only dog without cats or small furries. She needs a home experienced with large breeds. She can live with teenagers / adult only home.

Here's what her foster family say about her, "Sansa is an affectionate playful girl who is responding very well to training. She is learning lots of manners, takes treats gently and waits beautifully for her dinner. Sansa now knows not to jump but occasionally forgets. Her lead walking has come on really well, she ignores other dogs walking past as long as they don’t shout at her then she may shout back. She loves to bring her toys to you for a game of fetch or tug. One of her favourite things to do is gnaw on her bones when snuggled up to you. She likes to share them with you by doing this on your lap, Sansa is a very tactile dog and is happy being in the same room as you laying at your feet or by your side getting lots of fuss.Some of her anxiety does however mean she is unable to share her space with another dog but she more than makes up for that with her beautiful personality. She is working on trusting visitors as lockdown has meant she hasn’t had a chance to meet a lot of people. As soon as she feels safe she loves a fuss from them and keeps saying hello. Sansa is friendly to the cat but does like to chase her which the cat doesn’t like. Sansa loves to lay out in the garden, enjoying the sunshine. She will take herself to her crate when she wants time out and loves it to be covered at night to have her safe space. At bedtime she puts herself to bed and waits beautifully for her bedtime snack. She sometimes gets anxious if you leave the room. We are working on this and she has improved lots as she is starting to understand we will be coming back. Sansa is receiving ongoing training at home and in small classes. She is a very clever girl and responds well to praise and treats. She is still only a puppy, so has a playful and slightly mischievous side to her character. Sansa is such a big loveable girl that has a great character and will bring so much joy and love to the right home."
