Please meet Pongo! Pongo arrived to us at the end of August as an unclaimed stray. Shortly after arriving he became unwell and tested positive for parvovirus. Thankfully he responded perfectly to treatment and quickly made a full recovery.
Pongo is an absolute sweetheart and loves everyone, including young children. He has joy and cannot be cat tested but could live a playful dog of similar size! Any dogs in the home must be neutered as he is till too young to be castrated and will be rehomed on a neutering contract. He has been vaccinated and microchipped. He travels well in the car and is a perfect patient at the vets.

Pongo is a lively and fun 8-month-old pup bursting with energy and personality. He loves nothing more than playing with his toys and chasing a ball around the garden. He’s a clever boy who’s already mastered “sit” and “wait” at mealtimes and happily offers his paw in return for a treat. He’s learning to let you know when he needs to go outside — with only the occasional little accident indoors.
Pongo adores other dogs and is always keen to make new friends, though his enthusiasm can make him a bit bouncy at times! Despite being a big dog, he firmly believes he’s a lap dog and will happily snuggle up for cuddles. He’s also wonderfully gentle around children — he currently lives with two (aged 7 and 9) and is always patient and affectionate with them.
Pongo is fun, energetic, and needs an active home that can give him regular walks and plenty of playtime. He’s good at entertaining himself during the day and can be left for short periods, but he thrives on company and interaction.
Pongo’s the perfect mix of playful, loving, and loyal — a big-hearted boy who’ll bring endless joy, laughter, and cuddles to his forever home.
