Meet Nico – The Ball-Chasing Legend! 

At 13 years young, Nico the Staffy is living proof that age is just a number (especially when there’s a tennis ball involved). With a big heart, a big personality, and an even bigger love for his humans, Nico is on the lookout for his perfect retirement home.  Somewhere with cuddles on tap and snack distribution at a reasonable frequency.

He has three mast cell tumours but we’ve decided not to put him through surgeries, but don’t be fooled into thinking this slows him down. He’s still got plenty of pep in his paws and is currently living life to the full His blood work is good, his lymph nodes have been sampled (with no signs of being affected) and his liver and spleen appear unaffected. 

Nico is:

• Good with children – he’s lived with them before and was the perfect gentleman.
• Clean in his kennel and a dream in the car.
• Microchipped and neutered
• Still loving his walks – short and sweet, just like him.

He really does need to be the only dog in the home, as he’s overly friendly with the ‘ladies’ and isn’t keen on living with a male dog. He is friendly with dogs out and about on walks. 

He’s not a fan of cats, but if you’ve got a sofa, a garden, and a Nico-sized hole in your heart, he’ll fill it completely.
