Yabba

Hi everyone!

My name is Yabba and I am a 3 1/2 year old mastiff cross. I have been neutered, vaccinated and microchipped.

I am completely deaf..but this doesn't hold me back one bit! I know some hand signals but could benefit from some more training. I am a big lump and I do jump up to and mouth when I get overexcited so I absolutely need a home with those who can work on this. I am not aggressive in anyway but because of my size, I really need to learn to keep all my paws on the ground and to stop the mouthing. 

I am house trained, and I cannot live with cats. 

Whilst I do like playing with other dogs and have lived successfully with another dog in the past, I have been uncomfortable living with another dog in my foster home. Therefore, I would prefer to be an only dog in my new home (and my friends at SEDR have said that this is not negotiable, so please do not ask). I am not used to being left alone so I will prefer to live with a family who can be with me as much as possible. However, they must be prepared to take the time to desensitise me to being left alone.

Owing to my size and bounciness, I will need to live with an adult only home (teenagers plus would be ok if they are large dog savvy)

I travel well in the car and no guarding issues around food or toys. 

I really am the soppiest love bug, who just needs someone who is experienced with large dog training to teach me some manners!
