Hi everyone!

My name is Gabriella and I am an approximately 2 year old Frenchie. I arrived to SEDR in a terrible state, extremely underweight and chronically sore skin.

I am now completely healed and have been neutered and vaccinated.

I am looking for a home as the only dog in the home but can live with children. I have met cats in the garden but have not been formally tested with them.

My foster mum helped me write the following information so you can get to know me better 🩷

Snorts and licks to you all. My name is Gabriella, and I am a Frenchie with the most beautiful eyes. I can into foster in a terrible state but I have now received the treatment I need...details here. Although my name is lovely my foster family keep referring to me as 'pigpig'. I would like someone to shed some light on this as I am just delightful! I love all food, I snooze loudly and I grunt when I chew my toy...I don't get it??

Food: have I mentioned I love ALL food, but I am a good girl and I don't snatch or pester...though I DO look hopeful something may fall.. 😁 This makes it easy to train me as I am very food driven. I was very underweight but I am now a healthy weight.

Walks: no, just no....oh OK, yes, but you have to carry me over the threshold and make a fuss, or I will dig my tiny legs in. Once I get going I love it and I am a very good girl on the leash, and totally relaxed around other dogs. I have been ignored, snapped at, licked, and almost peed on, but i am everyone's friend and very forgiving!

Home: toileting training is work in progress still but I am improved lots with consistency, better weather and treats. I recognise my puppy pants and I am having fewer and fewer accidents, but I still need your help.

Sleep: if it was an Olympic sport, I would be a gold medallist! I love a comfy bed and a snuggle on the sofa. But when the humans go up to bed I do not make a fuss at all.

Barking and behaviour: I don't bark, I have trained my humans well, so I have no need to complain. I am completely non destructive in the home, though I occasionally like to check that the recycling has been done properly. I love to gum at my soft toys to self sooth. I have made a couple of cushions rather moist when I have sneakily got my paws on them, but I do not chew/destroy.

Cats and small furries: not tested, but could not care less about the neighbours cat wandering around. Surely you do not expect me to get up when I am all cosy and chase things?

Dog café: 1 puppychino please, do not hold the cream/sprinkles/little bits of chicken from the owners and other patrons. I will have the lot, then have a little snooze before the walk home. My foster mum loves to chat, so that works for all.

Children: are they any good at tummy rubs? Do they share treats? Do they know I am the cutest? Then yes please! If they are a tad noisy I will simply snooze harder!

I think that’s all for now!
