Hi everyone!

My name is Ed and I am an approximately 3 year old jack Russell who has been neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. I came to SEDR as an unclaimed stray and am now in foster in Medway, Kent.

I am looking for a cat free home where I can be fussed over. It appears I have not had much of that in my young life….but I have so much love to give!

Don't let my grey fur fool you! I am a young and healthy boy. I do look very distinguished when I stride around town!!!

At home I sleep like a dream! I was so excited to see 2 cosy beds in my foster home! I love being cosy. I am very independent and will just take myself to bed when my humans disappear upstairs. Currently I don't do stairs (I have short legs and I am a bit hesitant!). I need ongoing help with my toilet training...I am a clever boy and have learned so much in such little time in foster but I am still having accidents at home, mainly on the puppy pad by the door.

I am the perfect house guest otherwise, as I don't bark or destroy anything...I am however relaxing more and more into a home environment and showing my cheeky side: you are doing laundry? Great, I will 'help' by taking a sock to my bed and giving it a lick!

I love a little walk, but I am a  bit nervous of the dark and too much traffic worries me. I like meeting other dogs out and about but if something worries me I will tell you by staying near you. I don't bark or show aggression at all. I love a pat and a scratch at home but I sometimes get a bit nervous of strangers....unless they are the kind coffee shop staff who bring me my puppychino. I love people making a fuss then… and I am a very good companion, letting the humans chat as I snooze.

I love my food: kibbles, paté, tins, freshly cooked meat, treats..yes please!!! I don't guard or steal food...but I may give it a sniff and lick if you leave something on the coffee table.

I am relaxed around adults and children I know, but nervous of strangers. If I don't like something I simply take myself elsewhere. I am getting used to household noises too.

I’d like a quiet home without noisy children but kind visiting children would be fine. I would enjoy living with another dog for companionship but cannot live with cats.

If you can offer me a place in your heart and your home…please use the link below to complete an application form

Love and gentle hugs
