Django

Hi everyone!

My name is Django and I am a 2 year old Patterdale. I have been neutered, vaccinated and microchipped.

Due to a change in my owners circumstance, I am looking for a new home but I will stay with my loving family in Surrey until my perfect people are found!

I am a very friendly boy who is proven around young children (they’d need to be used to a young playful dog) and I am well socialised with other dogs. I could potentially live with a female dog who has similar energy levels or be the only dog in the home. I have stayed with other dogs at the dog sitters house with no issues.

I currently live with a cat who isn’t too fond of me…I will playfully chase her given the chance but back off if she stands her ground. So a very dog savvy cat in my new home could work.

No small furries please!!

I have good recall offlead and will play with other dogs and then come back when called.

I am food motivated and therefore a breeze to train, and have no issues walking past cars, bikes etc.

I am strong on the lead initially but that improves as the walk continues.

I am a perfect patient at the vets and a good boy for the groomer.

I show no signs of resource guarding, but i am the ultimate toy destroyer!

I will bark at new people coming to the door or those walking past….who needs a doorbell when you have an attentive terrier!!

I travel well in the car and sleep overnight in my crate (I love a long sleep so no problem if you aren’t an early riser!)

I am looking for an active home where we can enjoy long walks and adventures together. I am fine to be left but would like a home with someone around for a good part of the day…for company and snuggles.
