Hi everyone!

My name is Ayla and I am a year old Staffy. I was taken into a vets by my family as I had eaten a sock and needed surgery to have it removed. Once I had the surgery, my family never came back for me…leaving me bewildered and scared in a place I didn’t know.

Thankfully the nursing staff looked after me and once recovered they began contacting rescues - looking for a safe place for me to go, where I could then be rehomed.

I have now been spayed, microchipped and vaccinated.

The trauma of being abandoned has left a heavy weight on my young shoulders, and I need a home with those committed to earning my trust. Once I know you, I am a playful girl who loves to play ball and enjoys my walks. 

I haven’t been socialised with many dogs…and don’t really know how to interact with new dogs calmly yet, so my new home must be prepared and able to continue my training, once settled in my home. 

I need an adult only, without other dogs, cats or small furries. 

I will be a loyal and loving friend in the right home, but you must be prepared to visit me a few times to build my trust…I need someone with patience who can take things at my pace initially.

I travel well in the car and am learning to enjoy walks after not seeing much of the outside world initially.
