We are looking for an experienced foster home for Kodi (can be with a view to adopt) We have no definitive knowledge on his breed but assume Doberman (Fawn / Isabella) or Doberman cross.
Kodi has arrived as an unclaimed stray, he is approximately 5 months old. Kodi has skin issues which is being investigated and treated at our vets, and ideally we would like him in foster close enough for checks up at our vets in Dartford, but we would be open to considering homes further away IF they have the (Doberman or similar breed) experience and knowledge this pup needs. We will continue to pay for any vet treatment whilst he is in foster. 

Kodi is an anxious dog who appears to have had very limited access to the outside world. We are working on lead walking, but this is very much a work in progress. 

Kodi is quite vocal when he is stressed or excited, and has had zero training. 

Kodi is learning how to greet other dogs, but is still quite scared of bigger dogs, and seems more comfortable at present with smaller dogs. He would benefit from a calm, tolerant dog to show him the ropes of how to be a dog.

Due to his age, Kodi has not been neutered, so any resident dogs must be neutered.

Kodi needs an adult only home, without children. 

Dogs like Kodi need a very dedicated and experienced home who are prepared not only for all the 'normal' puppy behaviours and training, but also undoing the sad, deprived start in life he appears to have had.

That work has begun with Kodi, introducing him to new experiences such as meeting other dogs. Could you be the foster to carry this work on?
