FAQ

  • How much is your adoption fee?
    • Our adoption donation is a minimum of £180. This goes towards covering some of the costs we have paid out for each animal in our care, including food, veterinary care, fleaing, worming, neutering and microchipping.
  • Can I visit the dog in your care?
    • Because we specialise in dogs with medical and behavioural issues it isn’t possible for us to allow members of the public to visit without an appointment.
  • How do I register my interest in one of your dogs?
  • What does it mean ‘Rescue and Rehabilitation Centre’?
    • SEDR is committed to helping the dogs that are most in need; this includes dogs with medical and behavioural issues that may otherwise be put to sleep. We work on site to rehabilitate these dogs in several ways; behaviour modification programmes, high standards of veterinary care and complimentary therapies.
  • How can I get involved?
    • There are several ways to help and get involved with our work at SEDR. We always welcome donations as we are completely self funded, this can be done via paypal (link at the top of our homepage) , cheque to ‘South East Dog Rescue’ or via bank transfer. We are always keen to speak to new volunteers and discuss any fundraising ideas. Please email southeastdogrescue@hotmail.com for further information.
  • How many dogs do you care for?
    • We usually have around 50 dogs in our care at any one time. Many of these are in foster homes and private kennels around Kent.
